Welcome to our Business and Infrastructure Funding Opportunities Newsletter where you will find details of grant and funding programs that are available for the Northern Inland Region for businesses and infrastructure projects.

Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate Scheme
Closes: 30th of June 2021 or when the $12 Million funding allocation is exhausted

Eligible Primary Producers can claim a rebate of 25% of the cost of purchase, delivery and if applicable, the labour cost to engage a person to install water infrastructure for animal welfare needs.

The On-Farm Emergency Water Infrastructure Rebate scheme can be applied to costs incurred from 1st July 2018 for new purchases, and installation of pipes, water storages and water pumps, de-silting dams, and associated power supplies such as generators.

Disaster Recovery Grants

Value: $10,000 to $100,000
Run By: NSW Government Rural Assistance Authority

The Natural Disaster Recovery Relief Grant is available to eligible primary producers, small businesses, sporting clubs and not for profit organisations, following the declaration of a Natural Disaster by the NSW Government, and following the approval of the Australian Government. This assistance measure is only provided in event of Natural Disasters that have severely affected communities, regions or sectors.

Agricultural Trade and Market Access Cooperation (ATMAC) Program

The program is part of the Australian Government’s commitment to modernise agricultural trade and grow agricultural exports. The objective of the program is to open, improve and/or maintain access to overseas markets for Australian agricultural products by building stronger relationships with trading partners, neighbouring countries and international organisations.

The funding priorities for the 2020 grant opportunity are to:

  • help realise market access opportunities created for Australian exporters under recently ratified free trade agreements
  • contribute to the negotiation of protocols for new and improved market access
  • assist Australian industry in breaking down technical and non-tariff barriers to trade for Australian agricultural exports
  • assist trading partner’s knowledge of Australia’s biosecurity, food safety and compliance regimes and practices, and to increase capacity to respond to exotic pest and disease incursions.

Building Better Regions Fund – Infrastructure Projects Stream

Supports projects that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas, projects can be either construction of new infrastructure or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure.

1,000 Jobs Package Grant Funding
Closes: 30th of December 2019 5pm or until 100 allocations
Value: Up to $56,102.78 over two years
Run By: Australian Government Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet
Tranche One provides a subsidy for 100 new jobs for Community Development Program participants in remote Australia to support economic development.

NSW Cross-Border Commissioner’s Infrastructure Fund

Increasing Resilience to Climate Change
