Week 20 - Best Online Business Resources
I know what you might be thinking, the best online business resources are completely subjective. So, you may or may not agree with the list I’ve compiled, because everybody responds differently.
What I have put together in this week’s material is a list of my favourite people who provide online business advice, tips, or training.
Most of these people I’ve learned from and if you’ve stuck with my material this far, then it’s possible you might click with some of the people in this list.
When I planned this post six months ago, I thought it was going to be really long list.
If I really think about the people I consistently return to week after week, who are more general and not photography based, then this shorter list is what I have for you.
Marie Forleo
This amazing woman runs an eight figure business training people in online entrepreneurship. She has an expensive signature program, but the free weekly content she produces is informative and inspiring. I’ve dropped in the link to her YouTube channel because it is one of the best online business resources. If you take a look at the hundreds of videos, you’ll discover so much advice, no matter your situation.

Gary Vaynerchuk
He has a strong personality and if you’re not into brash or opinionated, he might not be for you. Regardless he has built a multi-million dollar business in the wine industry before starting his own media business, worth so much more. He works with big sports and rap brands and as a side gig he makes a Youtube channel of free advice for us mere mortals. His episodes are a mix between a Q&A call in show and a documentary style. The viewer gets to follow him around as he works in his business. His documentary style includes amazing insights but you might have to sift through to find the nuggets of gold so to speak. Strong Language Warning!

The Flipped Lifestyle – Shane and Jocelyn
These guys have been inspiring me for over a year now. They are laid back southerners who are building their amazingly successful businesses (they have at least three) from their small town. I feel that makes them really relatable to those of us here in regional Australia. Their weekly show consists of them doing a live coaching call with one of their paid members. I always walk away with at least one nugget of information as well as a whole heap of inspiration to move forward in my business.

The Aussie Business Addicts – Loren Bartley and Fiona Redding
It’s always refreshing to hear an Aussie accent on the business advice circuit. In this case, there are two of them and through their guest interviews they always provide a bunch of actionable advice for my business.

Problogger – Darren Rowse
Another Aussie who has built up an amazing place to learn about blogging. There is also a big National conference called Problogger which you can attend to network with other business owners / content creators.

Social Media Examiner
I’ve included the link to the podcast below, but also check out the website, because this content is essential to learn the latest in social media. Sign up to the list to get the latest to your inbox. I sound like a commercial but I’ve been following since 2011. They know their stuff just ignore the poor Steve Irwin inspired branding.

Amy Porterfield
Another one of the big names in online business, Amy Porterfield worked for Tony Robbins before striking out on her own. Her podcasts are packed full of really useful marketing advice. Sometimes I find her descriptions of how to do things a little difficult without a visual, so then I try to tune in to her free live training sessions (webinars) where I can see her screen. You can find those over on her facebook page.

Marmalead – Etsy Jam Podcast
For those of you building an Etsy store this podcast is a must listen. It’s a recommendation from someone who is rocking it at all things Etsy and Ebay.
