Woolworths and Landcare Australia are inviting primary schools and early learning centres across the country to apply for a Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant. With 1,000 grants on offer, this is a fantastic opportunity to set up a new environmental project or enhance an existing one. Previous grant recipients are welcome to apply again if they have submitted a final report for their previous grant project.

The grants inspire children from across the country to get hands-on with the natural environment through projects that focus on sustainable food production, improving waste management practices and recycling, enhancing native habitats and deepening connections to First Nations perspectives.

The following are eligible for funding:

  • Planting species native to your local area
  • Removal of invasive weeds
  • Seed collection and propagation
