Emerging Industries Program: Bushfoods and Botanicals Conference 2023

ClosedGrant Closed: 6th of September 2022 - 12:00 pm Run By: AgriFutures Further Information: https://agrifutures.smartygrants.com.au/BushfoodConference

The AgriFutures Emerging Industries Program helps grow up-and-coming rural industries for which there is a clear interest in their products but whose pathway for growth is unchartered. This is done through research that explores opportunities for growth and through skills development for industry leaders. Our goal is to sustainably grow developing rural industries and help them reach new markets.

AgriFutures Australia is a major sponsor of the Bushfoods and Botanicals Conference which will be held on 4 and 5 April 2023 in Alice Springs, NT. Themed ‘At The Table - Survive, revive, thrive', this Bushfoods and Botanicals Conference brings together bushfood suppliers, product developers, producers and end-users in in-depth educational and informative sessions over the two days conducted through plenary and workshops sessions.

With key speakers including Dr. Terri Janke, who specialises in Commercial Law and leads in the area of Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP), this will be an invaluable event for the native bushfood and botanical industries.

For the inaugural Bushfoods and Botanicals Conference, the AgriFutures Emerging Industries Program is sponsoring three (3) stakeholders within emerging native bushfood and botanical industries to provide conference registration, flights, and accommodation to attend the Bushfoods and Botanicals Conference.
