NSW Rural Allied Health Clinical Placement Grants

NSW Rural Allied Health Clinical Placement Grants provide financial assistance to both rural and urban allied health students with the travel and accommodation costs of rural clinical placements.

Placement grants of up to $750 (or $1,000 for placements at Broken Hill) are offered each semester. Grants are awarded on the basis of the duration of the placement and the cost of travel associated with accessing the placement.

Priority will be given to students who have not previously received a NSW Rural Allied Health Clinical Placement Grant, though past grant recipients may apply.

Grants are limited to one applicant per calendar year, for placements between 1 November 2021 - 31 January 2023

Funding 1: Applications open on 24 January 2022 and close on 1 April 2022 for placements starting no earlier than 1 November 2021 and finishing no later than 31 January 2023.

Funding 2: Applications open on 4 July 2022 and close on Friday 9 September 2022 for placements starting no earlier than 1 November 2021 and finishing no later than 31 January 2023.
