Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards - 2022

Each year, Australian Schools Plus in partnership with Commonwealth Bank recognise excellent teachers and school leaders who are making a transformative and measurable impact on their students and school communities.

The Awards aim to showcase Australia’s inspirational teachers, celebrate their achievements and show appreciation for the important work they do.

The Awards are open to all registered teachers and school leaders currently working in any Government, Catholic or Independent school in Australia. Those working in communities facing disadvantage are particularly encouraged to apply.

12 outstanding educators receive a prestigious Teaching Fellowship valued at $45,000, including $10,000 for professional development, $25,000 for a strategic school project, and the chance to join a unique group of education change-makers.

In 2022, an additional category will be introduced for up to 10 Early Career Teachers valued at $10,000, including $5,000 for further professional development and a unique leadership and mentoring program.
