Emergency Relief and NGO Support Grants

The NSW Government Emergency Relief and NGO Support Program aims to distribute grant funding across 
metropolitan and regional NSW to eligible organisations providing basic support to vulnerable temporary 
visa holders, with a focus on asylum seekers.

The purpose of the grant funding is to: 

  • provide emergency relief to vulnerable temporary visa holders with a focus on asylum seekers, who are not eligible for Commonwealth Government income support during COVID-19 
  • provide support to specialist migrant and settlement support organisations that are providing emergency relief
