Rural, Regional and Other Special Needs Building Fund Multi-Purpose Services Program - Minor Capital

The Multi-Purpose Services Program Minor Capital Grant Opportunity is for capital projects that directly relate to the provision of residential care by a MPS and further the objects of the Act.

The main outcomes of this grant opportunity will be to incentivise existing multi-purpose services to upgrade and improve residential care facilities. This will increase service capacity to cater for the changing number and increasing acuity of care recipients (including those with dementia) and assist services to meet the Aged Care Module (see Glossary) requirements. The grant will result in better access to safe and quality residential care for older people living in regional and remote areas.

The proposed works must not have been contracted, started or completed and must be undertaken in a MPS in a regional or remote area of Australia with a Modified Monash Model (MMM) rating of 5, 6, or 7..
