Suicide Prevention: Community Capacity Building Training Grants 2026

To support Hunter, Central Coast, and New England communities to build capacity, respond to and support, members of the community at risk of, or experiencing suicidal distress, the HNECC PHN is making funding available to service providers for the completion of nationally accredited suicide prevention specific training.

The Community Capacity Building Training Grants are available to community organisations, service providers, and health practitioners operating and delivering services to people who live and work in the Hunter, New England, and Central Coast regions.

Eligible organisations can apply for grants between $10,000 ex GST and $25,000 ex GST to cover the cost of accredited suicide prevention training or development activities for their employees including volunteers.
