ClosedGrant Closed: 16th of February 2026 - 5:00 pm Value: $100,000 to $250,000 Run By: Cancer Australia Further Information: https://www.grants.gov.au/Go/Show?GoUuid=b1ff4f42-f46d-4e22-a1df-887b23445f9b

The Networking for Cancer Equity grant program supports innovative, collaborative models that strengthen networks and partnerships to improve access to comprehensive cancer care for people living in outer-metropolitan, regional, rural, and remote areas.

The aim of the program is to enhance equity in cancer care by activating the Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network (ACCN) and improving coordination between cancer services nationally. This includes supporting care closer to home for people outside metropolitan areas, as well as priority populations identified in the Australian Cancer Plan, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The program funds partnerships between smaller health services and larger cancer services to build connectivity, share expertise, and deliver culturally safe, high-quality cancer care. Successful applicants must be registered members of the ACCN and commit to the Standards of Excellence for networked comprehensive cancer care applicable to their service type.

Eligibility:

To apply for the Networking for Cancer Equity grant, applicants must:

  • Be an outer metropolitan, regional, rural, or remote cancer service.
  • Be a registered member, or willing to become a member, of the Australian Comprehensive Cancer Network (ACCN) and commit to its Standards of Excellence.
  • Be able to form a partnership with at least one larger cancer service to deliver activities in the application.

(“Larger” means a service that undertakes a greater range of cancer services and related research activity than the lead organisation.)
