Act Two: No Fuss Funding

The Act Two: No Fuss Funding program provides grants of $7,500 to independent artists and small arts organisations. This grant is designed to be accessible and flexible, enabling organisations across Australia to sustain creative and cultural work without prescriptive outcomes.

In 2025 The ArtsPay Foundation will be providing:

• Twelve (12) $7,500 grants to independent artists who have been residing in Australia for at least two years and
• Two (2) $7,500 grants to small arts organisations with a turnover of less than $1million. 

This year, applications will be accepted either by responding to a single question in writing, audio or video. Applications will be accepted from artists or organisations currently practising in one or more of the following

• First Nations Arts and Culture
• Performance
• Design
• Theatre
• Dance
• Music
• Literature
• Visual Art
• Multi-Art Form
• Community and Cultural Development
• Experimental and new arts forms

Successful recipients will be selected on the basis of: 

• Value - is there clear creative and cultural value?
• Timing - is this THE moment in time to deliver the greatest impact and legacy?
• Connection - are there considered relationships to community and/or the arts ecosystem?
• Good practice - have protocols and equity been amplified?
