Fixing Local Roads Program

The Fixing Local Roads Program provides assistance to Councils to reduce the local roads maitenance backlog.

Councils can apply for funding for repairing, patching, maintaining or sealing existing priority council roads under the program.

This year, the Australian Government has committed an additional $191 million to the Fixing Local Roads program to support economic activity in regional NSW. This has increased the total funding for the Fixing Local Roads program to $691 million.

All Councils in the Northern Inland are eligible for this program and it will not require projects to meet a threshold BCR for applications to be considered.
