Early Childhood Grant Round

ClosedGrant Closed: 30th of October 2024 Value: Up to $500,000 Run By: Eureka Benevolent Foundation Further Information: https://www.ebf.org.au/earlychildhood/

Eureka Benevolent Foundation (EBF) is a family foundation that partners with individuals, families and communities, and with other like-minded organisations, to address and overcome disadvantage.

One of our focus areas is early childhood where they invest to provide solid foundations for children to learn, flourish and prosper across their lives.

The EBF early childhood grant round aims to help children achieve their potential in the early years and set them up for long-term success at school and beyond.

They know that children from families experiencing disadvantage are less likely to attend early learning services
and are at greater risk of developmental vulnerability. To support these children and their families, they are looking to partner with an ambitious not for profit organisation and their partners who believe their work can catalyse transformational change for children aged 0-5 experiencing educational disadvantage.

Objectives:

  • To partner with an organisation that works with children experiencing educational disadvantage aged 0-5 years.
  • To influence the early childhood system by catalysing or contributing to systemic change to improve educational or developmental outcomes for children.
  • To support initiatives that strengthen early education and care offerings for children experiencing disadvantage and their families.
  • To contribute a robust evidence-base that can inform and shift practice at scale to improve early childhood outcomes.

Eligibility:

  • Be organisations registered as a Tax Concession Charity and registered under Schedule 1 as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR1), or auspiced by a DGR1 organisation in Australia.
  • Be operating from and delivering their proposed project in Australia.
