Silo/Water Tower Mural Project

ClosedGrant Closed: 26th of May 2024 Run By: Telstra Further Information: https://mcusercontent.com/edea7877c4c5de6f94f97ab24/files/eb84dff4-217a-119d-eecd-04f33759b78b/TelstraXstarlink.pdf

To celebrate Telstra’s partnership with Starlink they would like to give back to a rural community by creating a tourist attraction with a silo or water tower mural.

They are seeking expressions of interest from local community groups and councils to collaborate on a project painting of rural water towers or silo. This initiative aims to beautify our rural landscapes, foster community engagement, and promote tourism. The project will involve selecting suitable structures, engaging local council, and coordinating the painting process. The project is fully funded and requires no further financial contributions.

The proposed artwork will be painted in two stages. With stage 1 being for the first few weeks they would want the mural
to be branded to highlight Telstra’s involvement.

Expressions of interest are invited from local community groups, councils or anybody else interested in collaborating on this project. Applications must include the location of silo/water tower, a letter of support from property/site owner, and a letter of support from local council.
