Organ and Tissue Authority Community Awareness Grants

ClosedGrant Closed: 1st of March 2024 - 4:00 pm Value: $10,000 to $80,000 Run By: Organ and Tissue Authority Further Information: https://www.grants.gov.au/Go/Show?GoUuid=2bda34fd-282c-41e7-9151-3958f901e786

The Organ and Tissue Authority leads Australia’s organ and tissue donation program so that more people can receive a life-saving transplant. They want more Australians to talk about organ and tissue donation, to tell their family that they want to be a donor, and importantly, to register on the Australian Organ Donor Register.

An organ or tissue transplant can mean the difference between life and death, being healthy or sick, seeing or being blind, or between being active and never walking again. When people receive a transplant, they can resume an active role in their family, workplace and community. One organ donor can save the lives of up to 7 people and help many more through eye and tissue donation.

Grants are available for two categories:

  1. Digital content and resources - To create digital content and resources that builds awareness about organ and tissue donation for CALD communities, multicultural and faith groups.
  2. DonateLife Week 2024 event or activity - To run a community event or activity in support DonateLife Week 2024 for CALD communities, multicultural and faith groups.
