Coronavirus (COVID-19), Drought and Bushfire Assistance
To help businesses and individuals affected by Coronavirus (COVID-19) access the available assistance we have created a dedicated Coronavirus Assistance page on our website. This page will be updated as details become available on the recently announced economic stimulus packages from the Australian and NSW Governments.
There is also wide range of assistance available for individuals, businesses and communities that have been affected by the ongoing drought and the recent bushfires. To help you access this support, we have created dedicated Drought Assistance and Bushfire Assistance pages on our website which are being updated reguarly.

2020 NAIDOC Local Grants

The 2020 NAIDOC Local Grants funding round aims to support activities being held during NAIDOC Week 2020 (8-15 November) that celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, achievements and continuing contributions to our country and society. Activities should align with the National NAIDOC Theme for 2020, ‘Always was, Always will be’.
This grant round provides funding to organisations to contribute to the costs of local and regional NAIDOC activities across Australia.
Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program

The Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program aims to improve access to preschool by creating additional community preschool places in areas of need and demand across the state. Eligible not for profit organisations can apply for grant funding to build, renovate or extend their facilities to deliver a community preschool, or purchase a vehicle for a mobile preschool to cater for increasing enrolments.
Ten million dollars has been committed to the 2020 round of the Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program. Eligible services can apply for funding through this program to:

purchase a motor vehicle for an existing mobile preschool

Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities

People living and working in rural and regional communities are best-placed to determine the groups and projects that most need support. For the seventh year running, cotton farmers have the opportunity to nominate a deserving not-for-profit community-based group that is undertaking projects and activities that offer clear public benefit. They must be operating with a charitable purpose (i.e. not intended to just benefit an individual).
Recipients could include organisations like early childhood services, halls, community events, meals on wheels, neighbourhood houses, agricultural societies or other local charitable organisations.
