Featured Grants
Feed Appeal

The Feed Appeal grants will provide community food relief charities throughout Australia the opportunity to grow their current programs, commence new projects, expand their reach and provide access to food and meals for the people that are hungry in their community.
The Feed Appeal grants program is state based and supports community charities that deliver food relief programs. These programs must improve the lives of people that are experiencing hunger and or food insecurity in the local community.
There are three grant categories:

Major Projects Grants of up to $50 000 for major infrastructure
-
Grass Roots Grants of up to $25 000 for minor infrastructure and food staple access
-
Rural Grants of up to $50 000 for major or minor infrastructure and food staple access for regional and remote communities.
Projects must improve the lives of people experiencing hunger and/or food insecurity inthelocal community. To help local neighbourhoods they:

partner with communityfood relieforganisations who attract little funding from government and aren't big enough to generate significant fundraising income of their own.

invest in projects that will improve thefood relief charities capacity to deliver their programs or commence new programs to meet the demand in the local community.
Health Smart Grants

Provies support to registered Australian charities that specialise in health promotion and primary prevention, and have a track record of engaging and empowering people to be
Health Smart in their everyday lives. Preference will be given to initiatives that are inclusive and relevant for youth and young adult audiences.
They believe supporting people to make good decisions will positively impact their health and wellbeing, and reduce modifiable health risks in their lives. Therefore, successful projects will draw on a strong evidence base to build health literacy, helping people to access, understand and use health information.
A funding pool of $320,000 will be distributed to six successful grant recipients who will each receive $40,000 in grant funding. A 'Peoples Vote' will also be held during the grant period, where two of our six grantees will receive an additional $40,000 in funding as voted by nib members and the wider public.
To support our intention of building strong and meaningful partnerships, the duration of the grant is flexible.
Regional Employment Trials Program

The Northern Inland is one of only ten regions across Australia to be selected for the Regional Employment Trials Program. The Regional Employment Trials program provides local stakeholders in selected regions, including businesses, not-for-profits and local government agencies, with grants to trial local approaches to delivering employment related projects.
The objectives of the program are to deliver:

strong connections between regional stakeholders, including employment services providers
-
employment initiatives that meet local needs
-
improved awareness of local labour markets
-
the potential for improved regional employment outcomes
Grants are for between $7,500 and $200,000, for up to 75% of eligible project costs. Projects must be completed by 30 June 2020.
Applicants should contact the Employment Facilitator for the Northern Inland, and they will help determine if the project is aligned to local employment priorities, and connect applicants with an employment services provider if needed.
Before applying, applicants must submit information about their project to RDANI using the RDA project proposal template. RDANI will committee will provide you with written feedback using the RDA project proposal template which must be attach to the full grant application.
