Community Building Partnership 2026

The Community Building Partnership (CBP) program provides grant funding to local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects.
CBP will consider applications between $10,000 and $100,000 for 3 categories:
-
Capital works - defined as ‘improvements to the land or building, or freestanding equipment that will be fixed or installed to the land or building’. This includes:
-
construction of new community infrastructure.
-
upgrade (refurbishment, repair and maintenance) to existing community infrastructure.
-
any project component that requires fixed installation and would require permission from the owner of the building/land to commence works. This applies even if your organisation is the owner and/or other project components are freestanding equipment.
-
Equipment - defined as ‘freestanding equipment that does not require fixed installation and/or registration’. This includes:
-
vehicles that do not require registration, e.g. tractors, utility task vehicles (UTVs), all-terrain vehicles (ATVs),dragon boats, golf buggies, dinghies, powerboats or sailing boats less than 5.5 m long or with an engineless than 4.0 kW.
-
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Applications are limited to one package up to $3,000 per application, per project location, and will be deemed ineligible if it is for more than one AED package at one project location.
-
Vehicles - defined as ‘vehicles that require registration’. This includes:
-
purchase or modification of vehicles that require registration.
-
on-road vehicles such as cars, buses, trucks, and trailers.
-
off-road or on-water vehicles such as motorised rescue vehicles and boats.
All projects must be delivered in NSW within the Electoral District for which funding is sought from.
Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) - Round 19

Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants provide funding to support short-term (up to 3 years), industry-led research collaborations.
Projects must:
-
develop a product, service or process that will solve problems for industry and deliver real outcomes
-
benefit small to medium enterprises (SMEs).
You can use the funding to cover costs directly related to your project including:
-
new research
-
proof of concept activities
-
pre-commercialisation of research outcomes
-
industry-focused education and training activities
-
conferences, workshops, symposia related to the joint research
-
information sharing and communications related to the research.
This is not a complete list and other costs may also be eligible.
Wheelchair Accessible Taxi (WAT) Operational Support Grant - Round 2

Value: Up to $2,500 (per eligible vehicle)

The WAT Operational Support Grant program for 2025/2026 will be delivered across two grant rounds with the program having three central objectives including to:
-
provide a level of immediate financial relief for WAT vehicle operators,
-
incentivise more WAT services to be offered, and
-
understand the cost pressures faced by WAT vehicle owners in both purchasing and maintaining a WAT vehicle.
The second-round grants are available to owners of WAT vehicles who meet the following conditions. They include:
-
the vehicle registration type supports WAT services and is registered in NSW,
-
the operator is an authorised Taxi Service Provider (TSP) or an Affiliated TSP,
-
where a WAT vehicle owner has received a Prohibition Notice as issued by the Point to-Point Commissioner within 12 months of the date a grant application being made, the required compliance actions must have been addressed before the application can be assessed,
-
Greater Sydney WAT vehicles should have at least logged into the Wheelchair Book & Ride service within the last 12 months at the time of application or completed an M50 job through TTSS to be eligible for application,
-
WAT vehicles outside of Greater Sydney should have at least completed an M50 job through TTSS or have an email from their TSP or Affiliated TSP supporting the completion of WAT work to be eligible for application, and
-
have no outstanding TTSS investigations at the time of application or have been suspended from performing M50 work through the TTSS program.
