EV Fleets Incentive Kick-start Funding

The electric vehicle (EV) fleets incentive (the incentive) is a payment scheme that helps eligible organisations procure battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and optional smart chargers. Funding is designed to cover part of purchase price and operating cost gap between a BEV and an equivalent internal combustion engine vehicle.

The Kick-start funding option provides a simple application process for organisations looking to procure 10 or fewer BEVs and optional smart chargers. A fixed incentive is provided for different types of vehicles, as outlined below:

  • Passenger vehicles and SUVs: $5,000 per vehicle and $1,200 per optional smart charging port
  • LCVs up to 4.5 tonnes Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM), excluding light trucks: $5,000 per vehicle and and $1,200 per optional smart charging port
  • Light trucks up to 4.5 tonnes GVM: $10,000 per vehicle and and $3,000 per optional smart charging port

 

Elsa Dixon Aboriginal Employment Grant - 2024-25

The Elsa Dixon Aboriginal Employment Grant (EDAEG) adopts a number of strategies to develop and support Aboriginal people through the creation of training and employment opportunities. The grant subsidises the salary, development and support costs of Aboriginal employees in public service agencies and local government authorities.

Example projects include:

  • School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships – $10,000 one off payment to support school-based apprenticeships and traineeships.
  • Post School Element – up to $30,000 (Part-time or Full-time Employment Status) to support the continuation of employment for a learner who successfully completed a High School Certificate (HSC, Year 12) requirements from the year 2022 to the present day.
  • Aboriginal Adult Apprenticeships and Traineeships (AAAT) – up to $40,000 to support the creation of employment of an apprenticeship or traineeship. Learners must be a minimum 21 years of age to be eligible.
  • Permanent Ongoing Employment – up to $40,000 to support the creation of permanent employment.

 

Upgrade your business equipment and system processes

Access a range of energy savings for your business by upgrading existing appliances and equipment or purchasing new ones.

Your business may be eligible to install a more energy-efficient:

  • compressed air system or make modifications to your existing system such as repairing air leaks or lowering the delivery pressure
  • heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
  • hot water and steam systems
  • equipment in your building to get an improved NABERS energy rating
  • equipment that make industrial processes and control systems more energy-efficient

You can bundle upgrades to save money while boosting the energy efficiency of multiple machines and processes at the same time.
