Growing Regions Program - Round 1

The Growing Regions Program – Round 1 will deliver grants up to a maximum of $15,000,000 over 3 years to deliver community infrastructure projects.

It will deliver community and economic benefits by investing in community-focused infrastructure which revitalises regions and enhances amenity and liveability throughout regional Australia.

The objectives of the program are:

• constructing or upgrading community infrastructure that fills an identified gap or need for community infrastructure.
• contributing to achieving a wide range of community socio-economic outcomes.
• is strategically aligned with regional priorities.

 

Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Grants Scheme - 2023
Closes: 30th of September 2023
Value: Up to $20,000

Funding is allocated regionally to facilitate an equitable distribution of the grant support and projects.

All Northern Inland LGAs are eligible for this program.

The Scheme provides subsidies for improvements at:

• regular bus stops;
• NSW TrainLink coach stops;
• bus stops adjacent to the entry/exit points of schools; and
• bus stops that support other modes of transport, including flexible transport options

 

Destination Australia Program - Round 5 - 2024
Closes: 10th of August 2023 - 9:00 pm
Value: Up to $16,500 per student per year

The grant program provides grants to Australian tertiary education providers in regional areas to offer scholarships to domestic and international students. The program includes funding to administer and promote those scholarships and promote tertiary education in regional Australia more broadly.

For Round 5, grant funding will be prioritised for tertiary education providers offering scholarships to domestic and international students studying in areas of skills need, aligned with the Australian Government’s National Skills Priority List.

In addition, grantees will be expected to award scholarships to domestic students from underrepresented groups, such as low-socioeconomic status (low-SES), those who are first in family to tertiary study, those living with disability and First Nations people.

Grantees will receive:

• $15,000 per year, per student in scholarship funding to be paid directly to the scholarship student.
• $1,500 per year, per student for the tertiary education provider to promote and administer scholarships.

Carbon Farming Outreach Program

Funding to deliver training and advice to empower Australian farmers and land managers, including First Nations peoples, to participate in carbon markets and integrate low emission technologies and practices into their farming operations and land management practices.

Support Plantation Establishment 2023–24 - Round 1
