Welcome to our Business and Infrastructure Funding Opportunities Newsletter where you will find details of grant and funding programs that are available for the Northern Inland Region for businesses and infrastructure projects.

Country Passenger Transport Infrastructure Grants Scheme

This fund provides subsidies to support the construction or upgrade of bus stop infrastructure (generally owned and maintained by local councils) across country NSW. The Scheme aims to maximise benefits to country passengers through supporting:

•  more accessible passenger transport, focusing on better connections between bus stops and surrounding communities
•  an increase in the use of passenger transport in country areas through improved awareness of bus stop locations, kerbside information and improved security (e.g. tactile ground indicators and lighting)
•  the development of minor infrastructure  to complement passenger service development

All Local Government Areas in the Northern Inland are eligible to apply.

 

CSIRO Kick-Start

CSIRO Kick-Start is a new initiative for innovative Australian start-ups and small SMEs, providing funding support and access to CSIRO’s research expertise and capabilities to help grow and develop their business.

The program offers eligible businesses access to undertake the following research activities with CSIRO:

•  Research into a new idea with commercial potential.
•  Development of a novel or improved product or process.
•  Test a novel product or material developed by the company.

NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program
