Welcome to our Business and Infrastructure Funding Opportunities Newsletter where you will find details of grant and funding programs that are available for the Northern Inland Region for businesses and infrastructure projects.

NSW Boating Now - Round 4

The NSW Boating Now Program provides grant funding to improve maritime infrastructure and facilities across NSW. This investment supports the needs of recreational and commercial boaters and enables broader economic and social benefits for communities.

Round 4 funding will build on previous Boating Now investments, and will benefit boaters and communities across the State by:

  • Improving the boating experience for customers by identifying projects that give waterway users better access, storage and boating facilities
  • Improving safety by improving the quality of infrastructure and improving safe access to NSW waterways
  • Enabling economic development by supporting increased boating participation and growth in boating-related tourism and marine industries
  • Shaping successful places by improving public amenity and facilitating the improvement and activation of harbours and foreshore precincts.

Three online briefing sessions will be available to brief potential applicants on the program and provide an opportunity to ask questions. These sessions will be held on:

  • Tuesday 1 February 2022 at 10:00 – 11:30am
  • Thursday 3 February 2022 at 10:00 – 11:30am
  • Thursday 3 February 2022 at 2:00 – 3:30pm

 

Building Better Regions Fund - Infrastructure Projects Stream - Round Six

This program funds projects that create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities.

The Infrastructure Stream funds projects that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas. These projects can be either construction of new infrastructure or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure. The Infrastructure Projects Stream only supports investment-ready projects.

Projects must be completed by the 31st of December 2024.

 

Energy Efficient Communities Program – Food and Beverage Manufacturing Business Grants

The Energy Efficient Communities Program assists businesses and community organisations to improve energy efficiency practices and technologies and better manage energy consumption to reduce their power bills.
The objective of this grant opportunity is to support small and medium sized food and beverage manufacturing businesses to save energy by:

  • replacing existing equipment with more energy efficient equipment
  • installing or replacing components to help existing systems run more efficiently
  • carrying out energy audits
  • monitoring and optimising energy use and emissions.
