Venue Upgrade Grants 25/26 – Advanced Screen and Lighting Technology - Expression of Interest​

The Advanced Screen and Lighting Technology Grant supports dedicated live music venues to install high-end audiovisual systems and dynamic lighting effects designed to significantly enhance the audience experience.

Applicants with a capacity of up to 1000 will be able to apply for up to $200,000, and applicants with capacity of over 1000 will be able to apply for up to $500,000 to support their advanced screen and lighting technology projects.

This funding aims to:

• Build capability of dedicated live music venues to deliver world class audience and visitor experiences    
• Increase the number of fit-for-purpose live music venues in NSW         
• Increase sector knowledge and expertise in best practice sound management and sustainable live music programming         
• Reduce sound impact on neighbours, leading to less complaints and increased business viability
• Increase diversity of live music offerings.
