Telstra Footy Country Grants 2025 Grant Closes: 24th of July 2025 Value: Up to $20,000 Run By: Telstra Further Information: https://play.afl/clubhelp/footy-country-grants

Local football clubs across Australia will have the opportunity to share in an $8 million funding boost over the next four years, as the AFL and Telstra launch Telstra Footy Country Grants. With a pool of $2 million to be distributed in 2025, eligible regional and metro clubs can apply for grants up to $20,000 – helping strengthen, sustain and grow local footy.

Whether it’s upgrading to an electronic scoreboard, upskilling volunteers or introducing new initiatives to attract more participants, Telstra Footy Country Grants aims to provide tangible support for clubs and alleviate the challenges they may face.

All Community Football Club’s affiliated to the AFL can apply.

Excluded are VFL, SANFL and WAFL clubs as well as umpiring groups.

2025 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards Award Closes: 2nd of March 2025 Value: Up to $100,000 Run By: Telstra Further Information: https://www.magnt.net.au/natsiaa-guidelines

Open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, Telstra NATSIAA is a non-acquisitive award that is free to enter and encourages artists to submit an artwork of their choice in one of the Award Categories. Telstra NATSIAA has no set theme, these Awards celebrate the validity and cultural diversity of contemporary Indigenous artistic expression in all its forms.

​Telstra NATSIAA awards a total of $190,000 in prize money each year. The overall Telstra Art Award of $100,000 cash (excl. GST) is awarded to the artwork considered by the judges to be the most outstanding artwork in the exhibition.

The following Award Categories offer the Award recipient $15,000 (excl. GST) and are chosen by the judges: 

  1. Telstra General Painting Award

  2. Telstra Bark Painting Award

  3. Telstra Work on Paper Award

  4. Wandjuk Marika Memorial 3D Award (sponsored by Telstra)

  5. Telstra Multimedia Award

  6. Telstra Emerging Artist Award

In addition to the above award categories is the Telstra People’s Choice Award, which is a non-monetary Award, chosen by popular vote. The People’s Choice Award will be open for voting for the duration of the exhibition.
