The purpose of the Compensation Grant program is to provide financial support to Paralympians whose Disability Support Pension (DSP) payments have been affected due to travelling outside Australia for training and/or competitions exceeding the general travel allowance of 28 days in a financial year.

The ASC has committed $97,000 each financial year to support Paralympians whose payments have been impacted.

For the application round 2025/26, applicants can apply for compensation for the financial year of 2024/25.

There is only one round of applications for DSP Compensation Grant per financial year to ensure all deductions can be taken into account.

To be eligible to apply for a DSP Compensation grant in this funding round, an athlete must:

i. Have been categorised by their National Sporting Organisation and National Sporting Organisations for People with Disability (NSO/D) within the ASC National Athlete Categorisation Framework (NACF) at any time during 2024/25;

ii. Have had their 2024/25 DSP payments affected as a result of travelling outside Australia (in excess of the general travel allowance of 28 days) for training and/or competitions in preparation for the Summer or Winter Paralympic Games; and

iii. Have the training and/or competitions mentioned in ii) sanctioned by their NSO/D.

The Active Kids Grant program aims to improve the physical and mental health of children and young Australians by encouraging and/or increasing participation through the provision of equipment or uniforms to eligible community organisations. 

The 2026 Active Kids Grant round focuses on volunteer-run community clubs and organisations with members aged 20 or younger. 

Grants will be awarded in the form of playing or training equipment supplied by HART Sport and on-field kit supplied by ISC Sport. There are no cash grants available in the 2026 Active Kids Grant round. 

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music makers nationwide are encouraged to apply for the 2026 LIFECYCLE Grants.

The three grant streams are for marketing, recording and touring, and are open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander music creators including songwriters, composers and musicians, from now until Sunday 3 May. 

The marketing stream offers 15 grants of $10,000 each available to support content creation, marketing and promotional activities. 
 
The recording stream is 10 grants of $20,000 each to support the creation and recording of new and original music, as well as facilitate access to professional recording environments, and business and skills development opportunities. 
 
The touring stream also offers 10 grants of $20,000 each to support and facilitate access for artists to tour a new project, to support audience engagement and build new audiences through a series of live performances. 

Music creators can apply for multiple grants and eligibility is not restricted to APRA AMCOS members.

The Lendlease Foundation Community Grants Program is an initiative to aid not-for-profit community organisations and charities. Each year a theme is chosen which aligns with the Lendlease Sustainability Framework focus areas.

Organisations that wish to apply must address a community need aligned with the chosen theme. In 2026 this will be applications from organisations that provide skilling, training, education, and employment to people with disabilities.

Successful applicants are selected using the following criteria:

• Organisation must be Not-for-profit with Deductable Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1 status or Tax Concession Charity (TCC) by the Australian Tax Office and/or registered with the ACNC.
• Registered ABN (not individual or sole trader)
• Management committee with at least three unrelated members aged 18 years or over
• Organisation must provide skilling, training, education and/or employment to people with a disability
• Organisation cannot already be a Lendlease Foundation Shared Value Partner
• Additional points will be given if the organisation can provide ongoing volunteer opportunities
• Additional points will be given if the organisation has a relationship with a Lendlease site, business or employee who actively volunteers.
• No conflicts of interest between your organisation and Lendlease.
• Applications will need to provide information on what difference the grant will make to the organisation and the people/community it supports, with emphasis on the broad reach and longevity of the programs.

The 2026 grants are targeting small to medium enterprises with employees of up to 300 people and annual turnover of up to $100M.

Applications will be assessed for eligibility by the Community Enterprise Foundation and final recommendations for funding will be made by Lendlease.

Telstra’s Connected Communities Grant Program will boost support for communities across remote, rural and regional Australia to enhance liveability with digital solutions that harness the power of connection. The program will support community-led efforts that embrace new technology and improve digital literacy or digital capability. Grants up to $10,000 are available for not-for-profit community organisations that are providing access to information, technology, education and facilities to support their communities to embrace new technologies and ways of working to build social capital and digital capability. The program seeks to foster:

• Liveable communities that have digital capability, and help to equip individuals with the skills to live, learn and work in a digital society;
• Sustainable communities that are diverse and inclusive, planning for the health, wellbeing, and prosperity of their people and the planet; and
• Resilient communities that are well prepared and socially connected when disaster strikes with the ability to renew and recover together.

The objectives of the First Nations Clean Energy Advice Grants program are to support First Nations communities to participate in clean energy development and:

• build clean energy project skills and knowledge
• access technical and professional support
• make informed decisions as per principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC).

The intended outcomes of the program are for First Nations communities to gain increased:

• access to technical and professional support
• confidence in engagement with clean energy developers and clean energy development opportunities
• collaboration and engagement with the clean energy industry
• clean energy project skills and knowledge
• participation in clean energy projects
• benefits from participation in clean energy development.

Round 1 of the program will run from 2025-26 to 2026-27.

Eligibility

You can apply if you:

• are a First Nations organisation or group
• have an Australian Business Number (ABN), and
• are an eligible entity.

Eligible entities include:

• an entity, incorporated in Australia (this includes corporations and Indigenous land management organisations registered with the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations)
• a registered land council representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, or an entity that manages or holds land rights, native title or other Traditional Owner related agreements and settlements, including a land council established under the Aboriginal Land Rights (Northern Territory) Act 1976
• an Australian incorporated not for profit association or cooperative
• an Australian incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust
• a partnership based in Australia.

You may be applying either for yourself or on behalf of another First Nations group without an ABN through an auspicing arrangement. The auspicing organisation or group must hold an ABN and meet the eligibility criteria in this section. Additional eligibility requirements can be found in section 4.2 of the grant opportunity guidelines.

CRC Grants are part of the CRC Program. The CRC Program supports industry, research and the community in 2 ways:

• CRC Grants – support medium to long term industry-led collaborative research of between 3 and 10 years.
• CRC Projects (CRC-P) grants – support short term, industry-led collaborative research, for up to 3 years.

CRC Grants provide funding for collaborations to solve industry identified problems.

CRCs must:

• be a medium to long-term industry-led collaborative research program
• aim to solve industry identified problems and improve the competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of Australian industries
• include an industry-focused education and training program, including a PhD program that builds capability and capacity
• increase research and development (R&D) capacity in small to medium enterprises (SMEs)
• encourage industry take up of research

There is no specified limit to funding for each CRC. However, the number of CRC Grants funded in each selection round depends on the applications received and available funding.

Applicants must at least match the amount of grant funding sought through cash and/or in-kind contributions.

Eligibility

Eligible activities must relate directly to the project and may include:

• new research
• proof of concept activities
• pre-commercialisation of research outcomes
• industry-focused education and training
• conferences, workshops and communications
• related information sharing and communication initiatives
• collaboration with international organisations providing national benefits to Australia.

The grant opportunity is seeking applications from eligible service providers to deliver temporary employment placements through the Arts and Screen Employment Pathways Pilot Program (the Program).

The Program will match early to mid-career d/Deaf and disabled artists and arts workers with arts, cultural, screen and digital games organisations for temporary paid job placements of up to 12 months, for any art form and any position level across Australia.

The successful service provider/s will be responsible for recruiting, selecting and matching host organisations and participants, and providing oversight of the placements.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

• have an Australian Business Number (ABN)
• where required by law, be registered for the purposes of GST
• be a permanent resident of Australia
• have an account with an Australian financial institution
• be a legal entity with the capacity to enter into a legally binding agreement or contract
• comply with all regulatory, industry and legal requirements in relation to copyright, licensing, employment, planning and environmental protection
• not have any outstanding reports, acquittals or serious breaches relating to any Commonwealth funding.

And be one of the following entity types:

• a company incorporated in Australia
• a company incorporated by guarantee
• an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust
• an incorporated association
• an incorporated not-for-profit organisation
• a sole trader
• a partnership
• a local or territory government agency or body
• an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006.

Applicants are required to have disability skills and experience as well as experience in the arts, cultural, screen and digital games sectors. In addition, key personnel delivering the placements need to have lived experience of disability.

Applicants can apply either alone or in partnership with another organisation/s. Applicants who apply as a consortium must appoint a ‘lead entity’. Only the lead entity can submit the application form and enter into a grant agreement.

The Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) is a dedicated $10 billion investment by the Australian Government to improve housing outcomes for Australians.

Through the HAFF, Housing Australia is working in partnership with all levels of government and the community housing, development and finance sectors to support the delivery of 20,000 new social homes and 20,000 new affordable homes across Australia over five years from 2024.

Through the HAFF, Housing Australia provides loans and grants for projects that increase the supply of social and affordable housing and address acute housing needs across Australia, including regional, rural and remote areas.

Round 3 will support the delivery of 21,350 well‑located, high‑quality homes that provide value for money and long‑term community benefit.  

Priorities include:

• Closing the gap: Support more homes being owned by First Nations led organisations with $600m ringfenced funding and a dedicated funding stream. In addition, 10% of all social housing across relevant funding streams must be allocated to First Nations households
• Keys in doors: Delivery certainty targeting support to homes that will be delivered in a timely way, seeking rolling completions from 2027 and all dwellings complete by June 2029
• Geographic distribution: Reach a minimum of 1,200 homes in each state and territory, with strong regional representation
• Well‑located homes: Fund well-located projects that improve liveability, responding to acute housing needs
• Enduring community value: Support proposals that demonstrate value for money and create long-term community value through Community Housing Providers and other eligible funding recipients
• Impactful partnerships: Encouraging collaboration across investors, developers, builders and delivery partners to maximise outcomes.

Eligible Funding Recipients for Round 3 include: 

1. Community Housing Providers
2. Charities with a primary purpose of improving housing outcomes for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people
3. Charities with a primary purpose of improving housing outcomes for former members of the Australian Defence Force
4. Charities with a primary purpose of improving housing outcomes for members of the Australian Defence Force
5. State and Territory governments
6. Local governments.

The Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) Governance, Resilience, Opportunities and Workforce (GROW) Grant Program aims to encourage sustainable growth and support building capacity of the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector.

The objectives of the grant are to:

- Strengthen workforce capability

• Support ACCOs to enhance workforce skills and capacity.
• Build leadership capacity within Aboriginal organisations to support succession planning and career pathways.

- Enhance governance and strategic partnerships

• Improve governance practices that reflect Aboriginal values and community accountability.
• Foster strategic partnerships that support collaboration, shared learning, and sustainability

- Support business strategy and financial sustainability

• Enable ACCOs to strengthen business planning, financial management, and revenue diversification.
• Build resilience and adaptability in response to changing funding environments and community needs.

- Improve data capability and outcomes measurement

• Support ACCOs to collect, analyse, and use data to demonstrate outcomes, inform decision-making, and advocate for community needs.

To be eligible to apply for the grant program you must be:

• a not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) in NSW as set out in the Clause 44 of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community control is an act of self-determination. Under this Agreement, an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Community-Controlled Organisation delivers services, including land and resource management that builds the strength and empowerment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and people and is:

• incorporated under relevant legislation and not-for-profit
• controlled and operated by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people
• connected to the community, or communities, in which they deliver the services
• governed by a majority Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander governing body.
• delivering or wanting to deliver programs to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families in NSW
• have an Australian Business Number and be registered for GST

The Screenrights Cultural Fund makes a difference by supporting people with exciting and innovative new initiatives that foster the creation and appreciation of screen content in Australia and New Zealand. The 2026 total funding pool is $300,000.

The 2026 Screenrights Cultural Fund is placing a strong emphasis on supporting innovators who are expanding, improving, and accelerating learning outcomes through the creative use of screen stories. Applications are welcomed from a wide range of initiatives. This may include developing interactive learning tools and innovative curriculum content, building mentorship platforms, and screen-based projects that foster professional growth and community learning.

The Rheem Apprentice Plumber Grants will recognise applicants who embody qualities that make an exceptional plumber. An independent judging panel will be looking for applicants who are passionate about what they do, how they’ve overcome challenges in their career to get where they are now, and how they contribute to their local community.

This year there are 25 grants on offer, each valued at $3,000. Each grant includes $2,000 to go towards TAFE/RTO fees and textbooks, and a $1,000 tool voucher to help build your toolbox.

To be eligible, you must be an apprentice plumber or gas fitter in Australia, either current or starting in 2026*.

*Grant recipients from previous years are not eligible to enter. If you have previously entered but were unsuccessful, you are still eligible to enter in 2026.

Aboriginal Affairs NSW supports the holding of events and activities in NSW to celebrate the 2026 NAIDOC week (5 July 2026 to 12 July 2026) that

• Celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and achievements
• Align with the theme of NAIDOC Week in 2026, 50 Years of Deadly
• Promote a greater awareness and understanding of Aboriginal histories and/or cultures within the broader local or regional community

Who can apply

You must deliver services to Aboriginal communities in NSW and be a not-for-profit organisation that is one of the following categories:

• An Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) 

• An unincorporated Aboriginal group that has entered into an agreement with an eligible organisation to auspice the funding   

• A not-for-profit organisation incorporated under the relevant State or Federal legislation and able to demonstrate the delivery of culturally safe projects in collaboration with Aboriginal organisations and/or communities   

The Steve Waugh Foundation supports children and young adults aged 0-25 years who have a rare disease with a prevalence of at least 2:100,000.

The Foundation will consider funding -

• Equipment
• Mobility Aids
• Communication Devices
• Therapy
• Treatment
• Some minor house renovations
• Items that improve the quality of life for the applicant and their family

To be eligible to apply:   

• You must be an Australian Citizen or an Australian permanent resident of at least five years to gain assistance from the Foundation and;
• Have a recognised rare disease as identified on ORPHANET: www.orpha.net, or if not recognised your medical specialist must confirm the disease is rare
• Have an Australian Medicare card
• Have already made an application for government funding assistance for the requested item, eg the NDIS
• The rare disease has been formally and officially diagnosed by a Paediatrician or other Medical Specialist
• You have and can provide evidence of the diagnosis of the rare disease signed off by a Paediatrician or other medical specialist
• You have and can provide medical, health and other documentation or support material required as part of your application
