The Contemporary Music Touring Program (CMTP) supports national touring activity undertaken by Australian musicians performing original Australian contemporary music.

The tour must comprise of performances in at least three venues or locations outside of the performer’s hometown. Tours that include regional and remote destinations, or which assist performers residing in regional and remote areas to tour, are a priority for funding.

Grants are available from $5,000 to $50,000, depending on the number of tour venues or locations in regional or remote areas.

Who can apply

You may submit a maximum of two applications to each round of CMTP.

You may apply as an individual, on behalf of a group, or as an organisation, to tour live music performances within Australia.

Touring musicians must be performing original Australian contemporary music. Funding can be provided to performers, managers, agents, and music networks on behalf of professionals working in the Australian music industry. Applications must contain one tour only.

This funding supports individuals, groups and organisations that are led by and/or support ACFP Strategic Priority Area communities to develop and deliver a diverse range of arts and cultural experiences.

The program targets the Strategic Priority Areas:

• First Nations stories and communities
• Broad and inclusive communities and content
• Broad and inclusive communities refers to the wide diversity of NSW people including First Nations communities, people of non-English speaking background, those from cultural and linguistically diverse (CaLD) communities, and those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. It also refers to our regional communities outside the cities as well as the unique communities in our urban environments.
• Accessibility and Equity
• Accessibility and equity refer to the inclusion of people with disability or who are d/Deaf. When considering equity, you may wish to include areas of accessibility (physical, financial, economic and social), to ensure there are as few barriers as possible to engagement with your project.
• Western Sydney and/or regional NSW; and
• Next generation of creatives and audiences
• includes young people aged between 18-25, as well as emerging artists, and arts and cultural workers who are generally in the first five years of their creative practice or profession, regardless of age. 

This funding could:

• enable the development, creation and presentation of work designed, led by and/or for artists, arts and cultural workers, groups and organisations in NSW who are included in the Strategic Priority Areas.
• strengthen communities through equitable access to arts and cultural experiences. 
• provide capacity building opportunities and strengthen the diversity of cultural leadership within the NSW arts and culture ecosystem.
• increase the visibility of work developed and created for and by prioritised NSW artists, arts and cultural workers, and audiences.
• strengthen the creative ecosystem through collaborations and partnerships.
• support access to resources and expertise for artists and arts and cultural workers to grow their careers.
• contribute to personal and community wellbeing, and economic development.

This funding supports creative development and presentation of new work by individual artists and arts and cultural workers. Applicants are encouraged to drive and develop partnerships with arts and cultural organisations to support their new works.

This funding could:

• enable the development, creation and presentation of new work
• provide access to resources and expertise for artists and arts and cultural workers to enhance or develop skills and grow their career
• facilitate engagement with and access to new work for NSW audiences
• strengthen the creative ecosystem through collaborations and partnerships
• amplify diverse voices and increase equitable opportunities for NSW artists and arts and cultural workers from Strategic Priority Areas
• contribute to personal and community wellbeing, and economic development.

Who can apply

Individuals: 

• Applicants must be 18 years or above 
• Have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) or be administered at time of contracting (if successful) 
• Currently living in NSW (minimum 12 months) 

Groups or other entities that do not have legal status:  

• The lead applicant must be 18 years or above, have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) or be administered at time of contracting (if successful)
• Majority of members must currently be located in NSW (for the past 12 months) 
• Unincorporated groups must have a written/ signed agreement between all members outlining roles and responsibilities, and their acceptance of the proposed project.
• Groups, organisations or partnerships with legal status cannot apply – you may be eligible to apply to Cultural Access.  

If successful, all applicants must provide details of an active ABN with a nominated bank account or provide details of a funds administrator. 

• Individuals must have a sole trader ABN or private company ABN (only if the individual is the sole director) or a funds administrator and a nominated bank account. 

Types of projects funded under this grant

The project must demonstrate it has a focus on arts and culture and directly benefits NSW artists, arts and cultural workers and/or NSW communities and audiences.  

It must be a creative development and/or the presentation of new work.  

What costs you can apply for

Costs you need to consider to make sure your project is a success: 

• Paying wages and fees of artists and arts/cultural workers based on 
  • Note: Events or activities receiving funding from Create NSW, must pay at least $250 fee for musicians.  This fee is based on a ‘3 hour call’ as set out in the Live Performance Award and endorsed by the Fair Work Ombudsman. 
• Renting or hiring of space for workshops, rehearsals, shows, exhibitions or presentations  
• Travel and accommodation costs related to your work or project 
• Fees for development opportunities, mentorships and workshops directly related to the research and development of the project  
• Marketing and promotion expenses  
• Costs or materials for the creation of new work  
• Costs to support First Nations protocols and ICIP  
• Costs to support accessibility.  

This program aims to support Australian news producers and enabling organisations to increase their commercial sustainability and improve the resilience of the sector through the funding of innovative new projects.

There is a total of up to $31.5 million available over 2 years for the program. Grants will be from $10,000 to $9 million.

The program will have two streams. Eligible applicants can apply for funding for activities that align with the outcomes under one of the following streams:

Stream 1: Journalism Production

Activities that increase journalism production and distribution including increasing training and staffing.

Applicants may apply for new projects that meet one or more of the following:

• improve or expand core news content produced and distributed digitally
• activities that develop the capacity and capability of Australian organisations to produce or expand their digital core news content,
• establish and support the emergence of new journalism in under-represented areas and/or underserved audiences in Australia (i.e. ‘news deserts’).

Stream 2: Organisational Support

Activities that support internal capacity building and commercial sustainability of Australian core news producers.

Applicants may apply for new projects that:

• develop or engage resources to build organisational and business capacities,
• diversify the avenues of support for the digital core news producers, through commercial means; and/or
• realise innovative economies of scale across multiple organisations in the provision of digital core news content.

Eligibility:

You can apply if you:

• have an Australian business number (ABN)
• are registered for the Goods and Services Tax (GST)
• have an account with an Australian financial institution.

and are one of the following entities:

• an entity, incorporated in Australia
• an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth)
• a company limited by guarantee
• an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust
• an incorporated association
• a co-operative
• a partnership
• an incorporated not for profit organisation or registered charity
• a sole trader.

The Moree Plains Shire Council (Council) is seeking to provide partnership funding support for a range of local events. These events would have the primary aim of enhancing the amenity, wellbeing, and economic vibrancy of the Moree Plains Shire.

Eligible event organisers will be able to apply for a one-off maximum payment of up to $10,000. The money can be used on a wide range of events as outlined in these guidelines.

Targeted support for events has the potential to:

1. Build amenity and community resilience and make the community a more desirable place to live and work.
2. Lead to long term economic diversification and new employment opportunities.
3. Increase the visitor economy.

The end goal is to deliver a program that will have the greatest positive impact on the local community and the local businesses.

What the Funds Can Be Spent On

The grant money can be used on a wide range of small community events to enhance the amenity, liveability, wellbeing, and economic vibrancy of our local community. Events not included on the ‘eligible list’ could still be considered, providing justification demonstrates why this expense is relevant for community benefit.

Events funded by the Program include existing or new:

• Community markets
• Festivals and fairs
• Local business events and conferences
• Sporting events that will contribute to the visitor economy
• Food and leisure events
• Community classes and workshops
• Agricultural field days (run by community organisations)
• Touring events and theatre programs (both for Children and Adults)
• Community celebrations

Who Can Apply?

1. The community event must be, or proposed to be (new event), located within Moree Plains Shire.
2. An applicant must be an established local community organisation/business or an organisation/business undertaking operations/activities within the Moree Shire.
3. An individual may apply but in partnership with an entity noted in item 2 above.

Pinnacle Award - Award for Excellance in WHS

The objective of this program is to provide support to regional town and village water supplies that are threatened by circumstances that could not be reasonably planned for, such as an extreme dry period or extreme water quality event.

Who can apply:

• Local councils and County Councils, as identified under the Local Government Act 1993 (providing water supply and/or sewerage services under Section 56).
• Water supply authorities (as identified in the Water Management Act 2000). 
• Joint organisations (as defined by the Office of Local Government). 
• Town water suppliers in unincorporated areas.

Who the grant is targeted towards:

The grant will only apply to essential domestic, commercial, industrial and institutional purposes in urban areas, or to essential domestic purposes in non-urban areas. The basis of subsidy for water cartage will be the actual cost of cartage, subject to Council targeting minimum essential quantities and implementing a high level of water restrictions that prohibits outdoor usage.

If water is carted for drinking purposes, the eligible organisation must follow NSW Health’s ‘NSW Guidelines for Water Carters’ document.

Types of projects funded under this grant:

Emergency financial grant assistance

Where water cartage is agreed as the most cost-effective means of maintaining essential supplies, the department may pay a subsidy based on eligible costs incurred.

Financial assistance can also be provided for the emergency provision of bottled water in exceptional circumstances.

Emergency infrastructure grant assistance

The cost of design and construction of approved water emergency works where the source of supply is at very high or imminent risk of failure or has failed as the result of an extreme event.

The Rehabilitation Appliances Program (RAP) provides aids, equipment and modifications to help eligible veterans to live safely and independently.

The RAP supplies items (such as aids, equipment and modifications) to clients to:

• help them with an assessed clinical health care need
• minimise the impact of their disabilities or dysfunction
• improve their quality of life
• enable them to live safely and with independence
• facilitate their participation in the community
• be an adjunct to their health treatment or a rehabilitation plan.

 The RAP National Schedule of Equipment (RAP schedule) lists the aids, equipment and modifications that are available. These fall into the following broad categories:

• assistive listening devices and tinnitus devices
• speech and communication devices
• low vision appliances (non-optical)
• cognition and memory devices
• swallowing and feeding appliances
• bathing, toileting, continence and personal hygiene products
• diabetes products
• assistance dogs (psychiatric assistance dogs, guide dogs, hearing assistance dogs and mobility assistance dogs)
• alarm system / communication appliances/assistive listening devices
• respiratory home therapy devices, including oxygen and positive airway pressure machines, beds and related appliances
• chairs and other supports
• Lifting devices
• adaptive household appliances to help with doing everyday things around the house mobility devices to help with moving around, such as a walking frame, knee walkers, manual wheelchairs, electric scooters and wheelchairs
• orthoses and prostheses
• footwear not obtained through the Medical Grade Footwear Program
• rehabilitation exercise and treatment machines
• palliative care appliances
• home modifications – non complex
• home modifications – complex
• stoma appliances

 Clients may be eligible for the RAP if they have an assessed clinical need and either a:

• Veteran Gold Card
• Veteran White Card and the equipment is for an accepted condition

Further eligibility criteria applies to some items.

The Telstra Top Up program helps those experiencing vulnerability stay connected to the people and services supporting them by providing a $180 Pre-Paid mobile recharge with 70GB of data for six months.

The program is available to community service organisations that utilise the Infoxchange Client & Case Management service and support vulnerable women, youth and families, First Nations communities or refugees, or community members impacted by homelessness, natural disaster, domestic and family violence, mental health, disability, financial difficulty or food insecurity.

The Australia-Japan Foundation (AJF) advances Australia's engagement with Japan by supporting people-to-people links through programs and partnerships aligned with the Australian Government's priorities.

The AJF 2026-27 Grant Round invites grant applications for projects in the following priority areas:

• activities that promote cooperation on bilateral, economic security and broader geostrategic issues
• activities that expand Japanese literacy in Australia and/or an understanding of Australia in Japan 
• arts, culture, sport, and youth engagement 
• activities that advance cooperation in key emerging sectors, including energy transition, critical minerals, resilient supply chains, agriculture, artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity and advanced technologies.

The intended outcomes of the grant round are:

• delivery of impactful and well-promoted activities that catalyse new, and deepen existing, bilateral, institutional and community partnerships and collaborations based on shared strategic goals.
• increased public engagement and understanding and awareness of shared interests between Australia and Japan.
• increased recognition in Japan of Australian excellence and expertise.
• greater involvement of emerging leaders and youth in shaping the future of bilateral cooperation.

Following community feedback, they’ve developed an approach to community investment that is structured and open and involves community representatives in the funding allocation process.

They provide support to initiatives across:

• Economic prosperity and resilience – town liveability, community services, facilities and infrastructure
• Environment – climate, environment and water (supply, drought and water treatment)
• Education, training and employment, – jobs for locals, upskilling, future of work, career pathways for local youth
• Community health and wellbeing – through services, availability of staff and liveability
• Indigenous engagement – support and promote initiatives that collaborate with Indigenous Peoples

This grant opportunity aims to distribute funding to meet the unique needs of Australians with disability under the age of 65, their families, carers and kin. 

Supports funded under the grant opportunity may provide benefit to children aged 0-8 and their families where this forms part of a broader service offer or scope.

Successful organisations will be funded to deliver activities that strengthen support networks, including peer support networks, empower people with disability, and foster meaningful connections across diverse communities.

This grant opportunity will be split into three (3) activity streams:

• Stream 1: Individual and Family Capacity Building,
• Stream 2: Community Capacity Building,
• Stream 3: Information, Advice and Referral.

Applicants may apply for more than one (1) stream (although this is not a requirement) and will need to complete a separate application for each stream being applied for.

Applications from consortia are acceptable, providing there is a lead organisation that is solely accountable to the Commonwealth for the delivery of grant activities and is an eligible entity as per the list above. Only the lead organisation can submit the application form and enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth. 

Eligible organisations can form a consortium with ineligible organisations, with the exception of those organisations deemed ineligible because they are:

• Included on the National Redress Scheme’s website on the list of ‘Institutions that have not joined or signified their intent to join the Scheme’,
• Included on the non-compliant organisations list on the Workplace Gender Equality Agency website,
• Included on the NDIS Commission’s website for compliance action, and/or 
• Subject to a banning order that is in force under section 73ZN of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013

The Paid Practicum grant provides a wage subsidy to give ECEC Employees paid leave while they are undertaking their paid practicum.

Eligibility

Only ECEC services currently approved for and receiving the Childcare Subsidy (CCS) under Family Assistance Law, including long day care, family day care, in-home care, centre-based day care and outside school hours care services, are eligible and can apply for their employees.

To be eligible for a grant the employee must be:

• an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia or hold a valid work visa (including student visa) allowing employment in the ECEC sector; and
• a contact worker - an educator who is part of the adult to child ratio at a Service or who provides direct early childhood education and care, or supervision for children in other care types, such as IHC or FDC; or
  a non-contact worker – a director or educational leader who provides direct support, early childhood education and care, or supervision for children; and
• a full-time, part-time, or casual employee who has worked more than 40 hours overall in the preceding three months with that Service.

The Professional Development – National Child Safety Training grant provides support to ECEC educators, early childhood teachers and directors with five hours of time to complete the national child safety training.

Eligibility

Only ECEC services currently approved for and receiving the Childcare Subsidy (CCS) under Family Assistance Law, including long day care, family day care, in-home care, centre-based day care and outside school hours care services, are eligible and can apply for their employees.

To be eligible for a grant the employee must be:

1. an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia or hold a valid work visa (including student visa) allowing employment in the ECEC sector; and
2. a contact worker - an educator who is part of the educator-to-child ratio at a Service or who provides direct early childhood education and care, or supervision for children in other care types, such as IHC or FDC; or
   a non-contact worker – a director or educational leader who provides direct support, early childhood education and care, or supervision for children; and
3. a full-time, part-time, or casual employee who has worked more than 40 hours overall in the preceding three months with that Service

The Infrastructure for Multicultural Communities grant opportunity provides total funding of up to $41.6 million (GST exclusive) for construction, upgrade or extension of infrastructure. You can apply for one of 3 streams of grant funding based on the type of infrastructure project and amount of grant funding you require for the project.

The grant opportunity is comprised of 2 funding opportunities, called batches. You can apply for funding in one batch.

• Batch 1 opens on 7 April 2026 and closes on 18 May 2026.
• Batch 2 opens on 18 May 2026 and closes on 12 November 2026.

The following groups and projects will be prioritised for funding:

• new and emerging multicultural communities, as defined below
• projects focussed on achieving positive outcomes for multicultural women, multicultural LGBTIQA+ community members, and multicultural people with a disability.

Co-contributions are required towards the value of your project and the minimum amount of co funding is determined by whether you are applying as a priority group/project or other.

The objectives of the grant opportunity are to:

• deliver physical infrastructure to support multicultural communities connect and commune in a designated physical environment
• provide co-funding to deliver community-focussed infrastructure and amenities
• provide infrastructure and amenities that benefit the wider multicultural community by improving equity and social inclusion.

To be eligible, you must be:

• a not-for-profit organisation
• a legal entity with the capacity to enter into a legally binding grant agreement with the Commonwealth; and
• one of the following entity types:
  • Company
  • Cooperative
  • Incorporated Association
  • Indigenous Corporation
  • Statutory Entity.

If you are applying as a Trustee on behalf of a Trust, the Trustee must be one of the eligible entity types as listed above.
