The Northern Inland Regional Development Board commenced the Skilled Migration Programme from February, 2007. The programme is designed to provide information and assistance to persons who wish to investigate employment options within the region. Employers and potential employees are welcome to inquire from the Board’s Skilled Migration Officer via the contact details supplied below.
Regional employers are invited to explore the options available through the Board’s assistance in attracting suitable skilled employees into the region. These options include assistance in identifying suitably skilled persons within the Region’s own labour market or within the local Australian labour market. Additionally, if no suitably skilled potential employees can be located within Australia then the Skilled Overseas Migration Programme may provide another option to solve recruitment problems.
Australian resident jobseekers from within and outside the region are invited to inquire via the Board for assistance to locate suitable employment available in the region. The Board has contact with local employers and employment and development organisations which may be of assistance to find suitable employment.
Skilled Overseas jobseekers who are desirous of migrating to Australia may also be assisted to be put in contact with employers willing to provide sponsorship under the various Skilled Overseas Migration visas which are available.
Weblinks available on the Board’s website are able to link inquirers to the various Federal, State and Local Government and other organisations which may also be able to provide information and assistance about your inquiry.
