Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund - Round 2

The NSW Government has committed $200 million to the Multi-Sport Community Facility Fund over two rounds. The NSW Government recognises the critical role local sport infrastructure plays in keeping communities healthy, active and connected. The Fund will deliver the best outcomes for the community by creating places and facilities that enable communities to enjoy and take part in sport.

The NSW Government is supporting local communities to future-proof infrastructure by funding universally designed and inclusive facilities that move beyond compliance and provide dignified inclusion for all. The Fund will support the development of well-designed new and improved multi-sport infrastructure projects that will meet the current and future needs of the community.

The Fund will support the delivery of sport facility projects that can directly support sport participation across all levels and provide programs for those people in the community that need it most.

 

Regional NSW – Business Case and Strategy Development Fund

This new fund aims to support local councils, joint organisations of councils, not-for-profit, industry and Aboriginal community groups develop business cases or strategies for projects delivering significant economic or social benefits to regional communities, with a focus on infrastructure.

The funding will help organisations build their capacity to plan for and deliver projects and regional development initiatives. The program will also help to build a pipeline of investment-ready projects for future funding opportunities.

There are two streams under this fund:

• Stream One: Regional Significance
• Stream Two: Aboriginal Prosperity

Applicants are required to submit a quote with their application to develop the business case or strategy from a suitably qualified third party provider. This information will be considered to determine the grant amount for successful applicants.

 

Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program

From 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2024, the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System will provide broad support to the economy through wage subsidies for eligible employers in priority occupations. Priority occupations are those listed on the Australian Apprenticeships Priority List.

The Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program contains a range of payments. Eligibility criteria apply to all Australian Government Australian Apprenticeships Incentives payments. Further information regarding eligibility can be obtained from your Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider.

There are a range of financial and non-financial supports available, including:
