Restart

Restart is a financial incentive of up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) to encourage businesses to hire and retain mature age employees who are 50 years of age and over.

Payments are made by employment services providers to businesses over six months. Employers can negotiate how often they receive the payments. Employers may also be able to receive a kickstart payment of up to 40 per cent of the total amount after four weeks of the job starting.
