Tailored Assistance Employment Grants (TAEG)

This funding aims to increase Indigenous employment and retention by funding tailored activities that respond flexibly to local employment conditions

The two streams  in this program are:

• Employment which aims to support Indigenous job seekers into sustainable employment
• Schools Based Traineeships which aims to support Indigenous secondary school students to gain work experience and prepare for post-school transition into further study or employment.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non Indigenous legal entities may apply for TAEG funding. Where both Indigenous and non Indigenous organisations are found equally suitable, preference will generally be given to the Indigenous organisation.
