The purpose of the grant opportunity is to increase existing specialist and community support services’ capacity and capability to deliver better practice, trauma-informed, culturally safe, evidence and knowledge based services to support victims and survivors of child sexual abuse, and children who have displayed concerning or harmful sexual behaviours.

The grants are intended to be accessed by services aimed at delivering early intervention, response, healing and recovery to stop the intergenerational cycle of violence.

Applications can only be accepted from applicants who, at the time of submitting an application or within 12 months prior, delivered services to victims and survivors of child sexual abuse and/or children who have displayed concerning or harmful sexual behaviours.

The objectives of the grant opportunity are:

  • to expand the capacity of services responding to victims and survivors of child sexual abuse
  • to expand the capacity of services responding to children (up to age 18) who have displayed concerning or harmful sexual behaviours
  • to enhance the capability of these services by supporting greater alignment with frameworks, standards and knowledge relating to better practice supporting victims and survivors and children who have displayed concerning or harmful sexual behaviours.

The Music Australia Export Development Fund is a bold partnership between the Australian Government and the Australian music industry – a matched funding initiative, designed to provide financial support to a diverse range of Australian artists.   

The program has been developed to support emerging, breakthrough and established acts and is made available to Australian citizens or permanent residents who are current practising music professionals. This includes solo artists, instrumentalists, bands, ensembles, DJ/producers and electronic artists, producers, songwriters and composers. 

The International Performance and Touring fund (Category 1) is designed to support international touring and showcase activity, with matched funding of $5,000 to $25,000.

Eligibility:

  • you are a current practising solo artist, instrumentalist, band, ensemble, DJ/producer and electronic artist, producer, songwriter and/or composer
  • your export activity starts within the eligible dates for this round
  • you have included evidence of your matched funding in the Support Material
  • your activity meets the definition of contemporary Australian music
  • you have read ‘What you can apply for’ in the guidelines (see below) and are applying to the correct category for your proposed activity
  • check your support material links are active, shared with appropriate permissions, and do not require a password
  • you have read ‘What makes a stronger application’ below.

The Creative Australia National Arts and Disability Awards celebrate the work and achievements of d/Deaf artists and artists with disability. The Awards acknowledge the contribution these artists have made to the creative arts and cultural life of the nation. 

  • The National Arts and Disability Award (Established)celebrates the achievements of an established Australian artist whose outstanding and sustained contribution to their chosen field of arts practice over many years has been recognised nationally or internationally. The recipient of this award will receive $50,000.
  • The National Arts and Disability Award (Early Career)recognisesan Australian artist early in their practice who has made an outstanding contribution to their chosen field of practice. The recipients of this award will receive $20,000. 

Eligibility

  • These awards are for practicing artists who identify as d/Deaf and or living with disability.
  • People cannot nominate themselves for the award.
  • People who are nominated need to be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident.
  • People can be nominated even if they have received a Creative Australia Award or National Indigenous Arts Award.
  • You must have permission from the person you are nominating to share their personal details with us.

The Low Carbon Landscapes grant program aims to scale up high quality carbon abatement from the primary industries and land sector, by supporting the development of financially viable projects which can attract investment. 

The objectives of the program are to:

  • Support a range of ambitious, landscape-scale, high quality carbon abatement projects in the primary industries and land sector through the initial stages of project development, up to the point where they can secure investment
  • Develop a range of financially viable models for project delivery
  • Increase private sector investment in high quality carbon abatement projects in the primary industries and land sector.

Eligible applicants include:

  • farmers or agribusinesses
  • Aboriginal landholders or land managers including Traditional Owner groups, land councils or Registered Native Title Body Corporates
  • not-for-profit organisations
  • government entities, including NSW Government agencies and local government
  • natural resource management/conservation organisations
  • peak bodies or industry organisations
  • producer associations
  • co-operative/mutual organisations.

For-profit carbon service providers are not eligible to be applicants.

The Community Led Climate Solutions Grant Program supports not-for-profit organisations across remote, rural and regional Australia to drive local climate solutions that reduce emissions through education, engagement and action on:

  • Biodiverse ecosystems; or
  • Just transitions*.

The program is collaboratively funded by donors committed to enabling communities to address the impacts of climate change locally for positive and sustainable environmental, social and economic outcomes. There are two streams:

Stream 1 Engage & Deliver Small Grants – up to $20,000; and

Stream 2 Scaling Grants – from $20,001 up to $75,000.

The Believer's Grant Program offers funding for individuals, groups or organisations unleashing young people's creativity.

Projects should connect young people with their creativity, the scope of which is broad. This may include artists, but also scientists, debaters, community builders and dancers. Projects could be anything from summer camps, robotics competitions, co-working holiday houses for artists, neighbourhood community science labs, a travelling STEM roadshow, or an after-school arts or coding club. 

Eligable projects should meet the following criteria: 

  1. Individuals, groups or organisations who are based in Australia and who are working on projects which will take place in Australia;
  2. Projects that primarily benefit young people under 25 years old;
  3. Projects that will commence in the next 12 months; and
  4. Projects with a core focus on creativity.

This round focuses on harnessing innovative technologies to mitigate the impacts of climate change in agriculture. It aligns with the broader Aus4Innovation objective of supporting the inclusive and sustainable development of Vietnam’s innovation system.

Grants ranging from AUD 300,000 to 700,000 will be awarded on a competitive basis to support partnerships between Australian and Vietnamese organisations, aiming to advance innovation in agriculture.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must:

  • Be an Australian entity collaborating with a Vietnamese partner through an established and ongoing partnership
  • Have an existing innovation idea with a clear pathway to scale, impact and sustainability
  • Address an innovation need in Vietnam
  • Comply with the Australia’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) policy
  • Contribute to the overarching objectives of Aus4Innovation.

The Carman’s Trees for Bees Community Tree Grants support the planting of bee-friendly trees in extended gardens, community-owned land, school grounds, sporting club precincts and urban corridors. 20 grants of $500 are available for not-for-profits, school groups, Landcare groups, community organisations and sustainability groups.

Applicants will be judged on three criteria:

  • Pollinator Impact: How the planting will benefit bees and other pollinators.
  • Area covered: The size of the planting and the details of the area (was it previously an unused site, does it extend existing pollinator-friendly garden).
  • Community reach: How many people are involved in the planting, how many people will learn more about the importance of planting for pollinators as a result of the grant.

In early 2011, Bowls Australia, in partnership with its state and territory associations, established the Bowls Disaster Relief Fund to aid its clubs in times of need.

With natural disasters regularly threatening Australia, clubs will be able to access the funds via an application process through Bowls Australia, with 100% of all sums to be redirected to those clubs in need.

Applications for the Bowls Disaster Relief Fund are open for clubs who have been affected by recent natural disasters.

Clubs can apply for up to $3,000 which will be assessed by Bowls Australia, depending on the circumstances and the details contained within the application.

Categories

  • Restoring social networks and functioning
    Funding can be used to hold a community event or social activity, keep communities informed, record the disaster event as part of local history, or to develop skills and networks that build capacity for the future.
  • Restoring community facilities
    Funding can be used to repair or reinstate the structure of a damaged facility, or to repair or replace damaged fittings and equipment integral to the function of a facility.
  • Replenishing loss of equipment
    Funding can be used to replace bowls equipment lost or damaged during the natural disaster.

The Next Chapter program elevates Australian stories that aren’t being told and nurtures a new wave of writers to tell them.   

In 2025, The Next Chapter will select a group of ten writers and provide each of them with a stipend of $15,000, a handpicked mentor to work closely with them on bringing their writing to life and opportunities to connect with peers, agents, publishers and readers.  

Participants will also receive the opportunity to attend a residency at Varuna, The National Writers’ House, and attend an end-of-year publishing intensive at The Wheeler Centre. 

Of the ten writers selected, there will be one fellowship place dedicated specifically to a humour writer, The John Clarke Fellowship, and one fellowship place dedicated to a poet, The Malcolm Robertson Fellowship.
